About

We quit our jobs as litigators to hit the trail and explore the world. We spent more than 11 months traveling abroad in 2016 and 2017, often with little more than a hint of an idea as to what the next day might bring. Among other adventures, we climbed Mt. Toubkal in Morocco and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain and the MacLehose Trail in Hong Kong. It turns out that we like to hike.

So after 11 months traveling abroad, we returned to the U.S. to hike the Pacific Crest Trail during the 2017 season — dubbed by many as the year of fire and ice.  It was an adventure to remember!

  1. I am enjoying the PCT pictures that you have been posting. Our son is on the trail also and according to the trackers you are crossing paths with him often. So by looking at your pictures, we are getting a look at what he is seeing. His trail name is Achilles. Have a great time on the hike and keep those pictures coming.

  2. Hey! I happened upon this blog when researching and planning resupply for a 2019 NOBO attempt. I was wondering if I could contact you guys about how you liked your resupply strategy, what you’d do again, what you’d do differently, etc. I liked your first article about your resupply strategy and will be using it for reference 🙂
